DIY: Natural Skin Exfoliator

I've noticed that my skin (especially on the face) has been on its worst lately. I admit that I've neglected it a bit din kasi. Heheheehe! It looks dry and old. Argggggggghhhhhhhh!!!

Of course, I've to make up to dear, old skin.

So here's what I made to help give back the suppleness and youthful glow to my skin.

You'll need the following:

  • Honey
Honey's ability to absorb and retain moisture make it an ideal ingredient in a lot of cosmetics, as it helps keep skin hydrated, fresh and prevents drying. Honey's natural antioxidant and anti-microbial properties help to protect the skin from the damage of the sun's rays, supports the skin's ability to rejuvenate and refresh depleted skin, leaving it feeling silky soft and supple.

  • Lemon juice
Lemons are well known for their cleansing and clarifying properties, and can also help restore PH balance when your body is overly acid. Lemon juice is naturally rich with fruit acids and natural sugars. Not only does it remove dead skin cells, but it also bleaches darkened or discolored areas. Lemons also contain a high amount of Vitamin C. Lemon juice is a natural antioxidant which helps stimulate collagen production in your skin.

  • Sugar
Well, it will act as the exfoliant for this DIY.

Mix all of these together and apply to your face. Massage gently in circular motion using your "beauty finger" which is the ring finger. After a few minutes, rinse off, and enjoy soft and bump-free skin!

Hope this helps!
